Where Do I Pay My Taxes?

To pay your First Installment tax payment (due by Jan. 31. 2025)

  • In person, at the clerk’s office
  • By mail: N1306 Boltonville Rd, Adell, WI 53001. If you would like a Receipt, you must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.
  • There is a drop box just to the left of the front door at the town hall. If you would like a receipt, you must enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope.

To pay your Second Installment tax payment (due July 31, 2025):

  • By mail to the county treasurer’s office. Address is listed on your tax bill notice of amount due that comes from the county.
  • In person, at the county treasurer’s office.

Please do not send or drop off your Second Installment to the town clerk’s office. The payment will be returned to the sender.

Tax Over Payment Refund: No refund is given unless payment is over the full tax bill amount. Refund will not be issued for amounts under $5.00

Some Important Tips when Paying Your RE Taxes

  1. Double Check the dollar (number amount to the written amount.) If they do not match, the bank will send it back, and your payment could become delinquent.
  2. If the check from the bank is written out to you and the Town of Scott, please remember to endorse the back before mailing it to the office.
  3. If you would like a receipt, please remember to enclose a self-addressed stamped envelope. Envelopes without postage affixed will not be mailed back.
  4. Please remember to enclose the tax stub with your payment! This is extremely important so that your payment is applied correctly.
  5. Please write your phone number in the memo portion of the check. So that if there are questions or problems with your payment, you can be contacted quickly, and the situation can be managed most efficiently.
